My favorite places to Shoot

This is a list of some of my favorite places to shoot and am always willing to travel to. The cost of each location will vary due to individual restrictions. I'm always up for places you suggest as well!

This is a quaint little free-to-access garden located in the heart of Pasadena. Filled with a lot of various foliage right next to a busy street, this location is a real hidden treasure for all sorts of shoots. The best time to have your session here is on a weekday in the afternoon as the sun is setting for minimum crowds. There is an additional permit fee of $100/hour for shoots with professional lighting, otherwise natural lighting there is no fee. There is free parking along the street.

Vasquez Rocks

Ever wanted to have a shoot on a landscape that looks like it belongs on another planet? Then this is the perfect spot for you, located in Agua Dulce! This location is also best for morning shoots only to avoid crowds and take advantage of the scenery to the fullest, so arriving as close to opening as possible is highly recommended. The terrain is rough, so please bring good walking footwear and only change into the shoes for the shoot once we are set. Permit fee is $100.

Mormon Rocks

The Beach…Any Beach!

I absolutely love sessions at the beach! Venice Beach (On the left side of the pier, closer to Marina del Rey) is one I'm most familiar with, but any beach is fine.

Placerita Canyon Nature Center

Placerita Canyon Nature Center

Located near Santa Clarita, this area has plenty of trails and trees for a more rustic look.

O'melveny Park

O'melveny Park

The second-largest park in Los Angeles! Beautifully green and located in Granada Hills with plenty of natural light, pathways, open fields, and groves of trees that is perfect for bright and cheery photos of all types.

Dumont Dunes

These sand dunes look like they're taken directly from the Saharah! It is quite the journey to get there, but well worth the investment and time. Perfect for stunning imagery that will blow everyone away.

Places I Don't recommend But will shoot at anyway

I love these places, and so do you. There are some challenges that come with them, but I will accommodate to your vision!

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

If you're super into space like I am, then the Observatory is an absolute must for your list! The difficulties for this location are that it's is strongly recommended that we start as soon as the sun rises (Varies each day) in order to have the least amount of crowd in front, and we would be limited to the exterior lawn in front of the building.

The Disneyland Resort

The Disneyland Resort

Travel Fee Required Entry Fee Required

The Disneyland Resort is the de facto magical place, and who wouldn't love to have images shot there? From engagements to graduations, it's the perfect place for any celebration. So perfect in fact that everyone wants to celebrate! The best time for a session here would be to start as soon as the park opens, with weekdays Jan - March & mid-September being your absolute best bets for minimal crowds and shorter lines to squeeze in as many memories as possible.
